Grayson Central Appraisal District Tax Parcels
The Grayson Central Appraisal District (Grayson CAD) attempts to: 1) identify all real and personal property, and 2) then value each parcel. Their primary mission is to divide the property taxes paid to entities in the county as accurately and equitable as possible. Grayson Central Appraisal District had 108,500 tax parcels in 2021 and 18 appraisers to value them and conduct tax protest hearings. That works out to 6,028 tax parcels per appraiser.
